About

Hello I am Ruben Alvarado

I am running for city council because I believe that Pasco has a bright future. However, our district is currently underserved. District 2 has an abundance of resources to help all of Pasco thrive.

My experience working in community development and in the affordable housing industry has prepared me to represent our diverse community. I work to enhance the education of underserved students through afterschool and summer programs. In addition, I help families achieve their dreams of purchasing their first homes and help them build home equity; strengthening our city’s tax base. I am a community servant leader and my experience demonstrates that commitment. I work in the Tierra Vida community and along with my wife Evelyn, we own a home and are building lifelong friendships. I am committed to a thriving local economy, safe neighborhoods, and local partnerships that will strengthen our families, community, and city.

As I listen to the people in our district I want them to know and truly believe that their voices matter and make a difference. I look forward to serving you and I respectfully ask for your vote in this election.
